Tim Alan is a horticultural designer and gardening media consultant. Tim Alan is a respected leader in plant pathology and physiology, soil sciences, nematology, entomology and irrigation. Tim Alan has over 16 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of tropical, sub-tropical plants and ornamental topiaries. He has directed complex installations for entertainment parks and tropical resorts in the South Florida region and surrounding islands.

Tim Alan has created and appeared in numerous informational segments for television about gardening, landscape design and maintenance. He has conducted several public educational training courses with Chambers' of Commerce and private gardening associations. Tim Alan holds a Bachelors degree in Horticulture from the University of Florida plus an Associates degree in Turf Grass Management. He is a member of the University of Florida Alumni, the Florida Turf Grass Association, the Landscape Maintenance Association, and the Professional Lawn Care Association of America.
